EarTeacher is an intuitive and simple to understand software solution created to help you learn the basics of music, enabling you to improve your current skills and acquire new ones gradually.

The application features a well-structured interface, resorting to tabs to group its main sections, ‘Activities’, ‘Practice’ and ‘Statistics’, while all learning tasks and assignments are conveyed through a wizard.

The main window of EarTeacher allows you to get started right away, by going through the introduction, then moving on to more advanced notions, in a fun and intuitive manner.

For starters, you will need to go through all the proposed ‘Activities’, organized into nine different ‘Grades’, each one dealing with a particular topic. As such, you will be tackling ‘Rhythm’, ‘Melody’, ‘Harmony’, going from the simplest of information to the more advanced.

At the end of each grade, you will have to pass an ‘Exam’ which will determine how far you’ve come along and how much you have learned from one grade to the other. To help you along in the process of information acquisition, EarTeacher also offers you the means to ‘Practice’ by taking short tests and being corrected whenever you make a mistake.

All the data gathered throughout the learning process will be analyzed and presented in the form of ‘Statistics’ concerning your ‘Progress’, ‘Skills’ and the marks you obtained on your ‘Quizzes’ and ‘Exams’. This way, you can determine yourself in an objective manner if there has been an improvement or not.
