Learning a new language is no easy task, more so when the dialect is different than the one of your native language. A lot of practice is required to learn vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, correct word order in a sentence, and so on. That can be achieved either by studying on your own or by training with dedicated software, or both.

If you are planning on learning and practicing German, then Metamorphosec German Sentence Scramble is an application you can use to assess your progress.

The application requires Strawberry Perl to work and administrative privileges. Once you launch it, the main window is revealed, with a simple interface and its straightforward options.

There are two available modes: Training Mode and Test Mode. The training mode allows you to go through no less than 100 tests that require you to set the given words in the correct order to form a sentence that makes sense in German. While it is not advisable to press the hint button quickly, you can do so to see the correct answer. The translation in English can also be shown with the click of a button, which allows you to learn new words and expand your vocabulary in German.

The Test mode is different, as it allows you to go through a set of 10 questions to assess your knowledge. As expected, this mode does not offer you any hints at all. It requires you to get the right answers one by one.

The results of the test are shown in the designated tab, which displays statistical information about the number of correct and wrong answers, the passing grade and the test status. All the wrong and correct answers are also shown, so you can review them and learn from mistakes.

Metamorphosec German Sentence Scramble provides a quick and easy method to practice German and improve your vocabulary and your language skills. While there are many more areas and types of exercises you may need to learn German, this tool offers a good place to start practicing.
