Komic Reader is an accessible and intuitive application compatible with Windows 10, 8.1, 8 that comes light-packed only with the essential controls to help quickly browse through your comics. The supported file formats are CBZ, CBR, CB7, 7Z, TAR, ZIP and RAR.

It provides a simple and approachable interface with all the navigational commands in plain sight. To add a book just browse its location on the PC and it's automatically loaded into the window. However, the app doesn't support the drag-and-drop mode nor offer a sync option with OneDrive or other email providers.

While in reading mode, you can use the next and back arrows to flip through pages or other neat techniques, such as the keyboard keys or the mouse wheel. You can switch between page, scroll and book view change the viewing direction, as well as rotate it to different angles, zoom in and out, and the pick the page flip style.

It would've been a nice if the utility came with a bookmark feature to easily keep track of where you left off in multiple books. What's more, from the settings you can adjust the brightness, contrast and apply a few effects, like grey, auto coloring and bakumatsu.
