Lifeclock for Windows 8

Lifeclock is a simple-to-use app specifically designed for computers running Windows 10, 8.1 and 8, which facilitates a simple interface for finding out your exact age, based on the specified date of birth.

It doesn't include special options or customization preferences, making it accessible to all types of users, even those inexperienced with age calculators.

It can be quickly downloaded and installed from the Microsoft Store. It creates a Metro app shorcut that can be launched from the Start Screen in Windows 8 and 8.1, along with the Start Menu in Windows 10.

As for the interface, Lifeclock adopts the same flat appearance with large buttons shared among most tools specially made for Windows 10, 8.1 and 8. From the "Settings" area you can establish your birth date and click a button to confirm the action.

The main window reveals your actual age in years, months, days, hours, minutes and seconds by comparing the specified birth date with the system clock. Moving the mouse cursor over any of these units shows the age calculated in those units, such as total hours.

There are no other notable options provided by this program. Thanks to common Windows features shared among all Metro apps, it's possible to share Lifeclock with other users via messaging, email, Twitter, OneNote, or other media platforms you have installed.

It didn't put a strain on the computer's performance in our tests, running on a low amount of CPU and RAM. The app worked smoothly, without causing the operating system to hang, crash or prompt error messages.

Although it doesn't come packed with a particularly rich set of options and customization preferences, Lifeclock offers a simple and straightforward method for finding out your exact age calculated in years, months, days, hours, minutes and seconds.
