Math is quite a difficult subject in school, at least if you don’t invest the right amount of attention. First of all, the application comes in a pretty lightweight package, and even though you’re taken through a setup process, it’s possible to have it deployed on a thumb drive. What’s more, it comes as an open source program, meaning you can take your shot at making it better, given you know your way with programming languages.

The application is designed as a sort of a game, making it rather suitable for youngsters. Not only this, but it only contains basic operations with adding and subtracting numbers, while customization is not implemented in any method whatsoever.

Starting the game lets you select the type of operator to work with. Series of operations show up in a notebook-like environment, and you need to use the keyboard to provide the right answer. A new operation shows up every 5 seconds, even when providing the wrong answer. Sadly, you can eliminate this delay, or adjust it.

Although you’re notified when you get the result wrong or right, the application doesn’t keep a record of all your activity to see whether or not your skill improved over time. What’s more, you’re only limited to working with single-digit numbers, which has a great deal of impact on overall practicality.

Taking everything into consideration, we can state that Maths is mostly designed for those which get to experience math for the first time. Sadly, it’s devoid of any type of customization. Operator list leaves much to be desired, and you only work with single-digit numbers.
