People Counter

People Counter is a simplistic application that counts every time you click, incrementing the currently displayed number by one. It can come in handy for rapidly counting people or items instead of memorizing the numbers, risking to forget where you were if you get interrupted by someone.

This small-sized app is wrapped in a Modern UI and optimized for touch-supported devices that are running Windows 8, 8.1 and 10. Since it's trusted by Microsoft, it can be effortlessly downloaded and installed from the Windows Store, thus integrating it with your Start Screen or Menu.

As far as the interface is concerned, People Counter adopts a large window with a black background and white text, showing the default number (0) in a very big button in the center of the window.

All you have to do is click this button every time you want to increase the counter by 1. However, our tests have shown that this doesn't work when clicking very fast, so you should pace yourself when estimating various objects. If you want to reset the counter to 0, just click the Reset button on the lower-right corner.

The developer hasn't implemented any additional options. On the other hand, thanks to the built-in options of the operating system, you can switch to full screen from normal window mode, as well as take a screenshot of the counter and share it with someone using OneNote, Twitter or another Modern UI you have installed.

All things considered, People Counter offers a simple method for keeping track of various items by counting every time you click. However, it doesn't feature additional options or any kind of configuration settings for users looking for more versatility, such as incrementing by two or more numbers. Nevertheless, you can test it for yourself.
