Seagull for Windows

Ship or marine vessel employees, also called seafarers are always operating under strict conduct that is often set by the regulatory framework of their employer, as well as their mother company, or professional principles. Learning and training for the practices and characteristics of such jobs can be carried out using specialized training and tests, such as those offered by Seagull.

Seagull for Windows was designed specifically in order to offer users a dedicated way of training and learning for the Seagull CBT tests. It comes equipped with a plethora of questions and answers for most subjects presented in the aforementioned tests.

The application comes equipped with a classic layout when it comes to presenting its content, and I was pleased with the way in which the training material is provided. To that end, you will be able to access the potential test subjects in a hierarchical manner, thanks to the included panels.

Each main category features multiple subsequent questions, and each question is met with not just a single potential answer, but multiple ones, which offers a good degree of versatility.

A wide range of subjects are covered, and in total there are 10233 questions and answers available within the app. This is great, and the app also comes with a dedicated search function, which ensures that finding the right subject won’t take too long.

However, a major drawback which I found, was the fact that there is no way of marking the subjects, questions, and answers you’ve already previewed, which can make it very difficult to keep track of the learning progress.

With its vast array of subjects, questions, and answers, Seagull for Windows offers a deep insight into learning for the CBT tests. However, it does lack a way of setting bookmarks for the previewed content, which can make things difficult along the way.
