ShaPlus Typing Game is a lightweight application that enables you to improve your typing speed in a fun and pleasant way.

The setup is quick, uneventful and does not require special attention from your part. Upon launch, you come face to face with a relatively large and empty UI set on a gray and white background. While it may seem incomplete, it can be argued that the minimalistic looks helps prevent you from getting distracted while practicing.

It is worth mentioning that although the app includes English by default, you can add other foreign languages as well. You can practice and improve your typing skills in Arabic, Thai, Greek or Korean, for instance.

On a side note, even though the app also allows you to select the font for practicing, the options are limited to the standard ones in Windows.

The program includes 2 modes that address different users of various skill levels. The game mode implies typing down the letters sliding down before they reach the bottom of the screen. Respectively, the practice mode enables you to select the level or keys that you need more practice for.

Without denying that app can come in handy in various situations, generally speaking people tend to learn faster when the lessons are structured in a manner that does not make them feel like learning. Consequentially, it would be nice if the program included more diversified small games to practice your typing.

A small and simplistic typing aid

Although useful, fun and available in multiple languages, ShaPlus Typing Game could use more games or small, diverse apps to be more appealing.
