TS Translator for Windows 8 is a feature-rich and educational program that comes bundled with 12 unique learning categories from basic greetings to everyday life. It main purpose is to help you translate expressions and useful questions between English, German, Chinese, Japanese, French, or Korean. It also features a virtual voice that can read the text slower or faster.

It's wrapped in a modern and self-explanatory interface, displaying the groups on the left side of the panel, while on the right, you can view a more detailed menu with different options to choose from. Make sure you have a steady Internet connection, as right from the beginning, the app starts to download all the necessary translations from its database.

Plus, from the start, you can pick your native language and the target one. From the basic conversation, you can learn and translate greetings, personal introductions, invitations, relationships, basic expression, and opinions. Each sub-group contains one or more distinct stages.

Some words in an expression or question are underlined with a specific color, which means that term can be replaced with other similar ones. For example, instead of family, you can pick grandfather, mother, husband, wife, friend, student, or college. The voice function is represented by three sound icons, which read the text faster or slower.

It's possible to navigate between records, using the arrows at the bottom of the window. Sadly, there is no built-in tutorial that can guide you through some important steps, in order to explain in short how to program works. No additional sound or visual settings are included.
