Generate Nassi-Schneiderman diagrams (structogram) in an intuitive environment by simply placing functions, customizing visuals, and editing values #Nassi-Schneidermann Diagram #Create diagram #Diagram generator #Creator #Create #Generate
Taking on an ambitious project requires careful planning of each step for more chances of success. This also includes programming, especially since it’s sensible work to write down lines of code appropriately. In this regard, UStruct wants to help you create a visual representation of your code in a structogram.
First of all, the application can be launched right after download, because there’s no installation required to make it work. What’s more, you can use it on different operating systems because it relies on Java Runtime Environment to function. It’s also portable, thus not modifying any registries, and not affecting the stability of the target PC.
The application helps you build Nassi–Shneiderman diagrams, or structograms, which are visual representation of codes, classes, and functions. However, this doesn’t mean you write any code at all, with the general building process letting you work with different objects, each representing a specific function.
You add objects at the press of a button, with options to choose from instruction, if statement, do while condition, do until condition, case structure, call, break, and endless loop. What’s more, specific functions allow you to insert these objects before, or after selected items. Right after an object is placed, the configuration window shows up to insert default values, which can be changed at any given time.
Customization is yet another rich component. Even if an object comes with a fixed, specific structure for easy identification of the function of interest, these can be resized, or remodeled by dragging section delimiters around. Line thickness, text font, and color options can be managed. When you’re done, export options allow you to generate a picture with your new schema.
All things considered, we can safely state that UStruct helps you easily create a visual representation of the code you’re about to write, or already did. Objects are inserted at the press of a button, while the variety of customization options are sure to make the application worth more than a trial run.
