Unified BookReader is an application you can use to open and view the content of HTML, RTF and TXT documents. It features intuitive customization options that can be handled with ease, even by inexperienced users.

Setting up this tool takes minimal time and effort, since there are no special settings or third-party components bundled with the setup kit. However, .NET Framework must be installed, since it was developed with the aid of this platform.

When it comes to the interface, Unified BookReader adopts a large window with a plain and simple structure, where you can get started by opening an HTML, RTF or TXT filefrom file, folder or Internet address. Recently accessed items are recorded to history in the "File" menu for quick access.

It's possible to change the color scheme along with the text and background color, zoom in and out (dynamic zoom is supported), as well as choose one of the numerous encoding methods available, such as Arabic, Baltic, Central, Chinese, Cyrillic, Japanese, Unicode UTF-8, or Vietnamese.

The content panel can be displayed or hidden. There are no other notable options provided by this app. Unfortunately, keyboard shortcuts aren't supported for rapidly executing commands without the need of the mouse.

It worked smoothly on newer Windows models in our tests, although the program hasn't been updated for a long time. It used a low amount of CPU and RAM, so it didn't hamper the overall performance of the computer or interfere with the runtime of other running processes. Help documentation is available.
