Verb trainer

As its name suggests, Verb trainer is a piece of software designed to help you improve your language skills by learning and practicing verb conjugations.

First and foremost, it's important to point out that Verb trainer comes with support for some of the most well-known languages out there such as English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Dutch, Danish, and Swedish. It might also be worth knowing that it comes equipped with lists of over three hundred words for each of the specified languages.

Once you get past the app's basic installation procedure and you launch it for the first time, you should be able to discover that one of the app's highlights is its striking simplicity. Usually, comparable apps for language learning are riddled with menus and all sorts of sections, making them somewhat counterintuitive, especially for first-time users.

Just launch the application, type in the username, select the language you want to practice verb conjugations and the language for the application's user interface. Before you start off, take a quick look in the app's Settings section and choose the verbs you want to practice on and the tenses you want to exercise.

Please note that you can choose one or both simple past and past perfect as your choices for your conjugation exercises. There are two extra options that allow you to solely work with irregular tenses or with only one tense per verb.

Once you start the test, you are presented with a random verb on the upper section of the app's compact main window. Simply enter the answers in the designated sections either hit the Enter key or the "Check" button using your computer's mouse.

Evidently, if your answer is correct the textbox will appear green, otherwise, it will flash red, and you'll also be provided with the correct answer.

Taking everything into account, Verb trainer is a nifty little tool, accessible by all categories of users out there.

It may not be the most comprehensive tool of its kind, but if you're only looking for an application that can help improve your language skills by conjugating verbs (and simple past and past perfect tenses are problematic), then there's really no reason why you shouldn't give it a shot.
