Wemo Control Center/Server

Wemo Control Center/Server is a user-friendly and effective piece of software designed to provide you with a simple method of remotely managing your Belkin WeMo devices, allowing you to schedule their on / off periods with ease.

Belkin WeMo devices are used to control various home electronics, through the corresponding Android or iOS app.

The existing products include WeMo Switch, WeMo Motion Sensor, WeMo Light Switch, NetCam and several others. These function via IP address, through a wireless or a phone network.

In order to function properly, the utility may need to be allowed Firewall access. Subsequently, you can start configuring your devices, by adding each one’s name and corresponding IP address. If the connection is unsuccessful, a red light will inform you of this fact.

Once the devices have been detected, you can enter the ‘Weekday’ and ‘Weekend’ functioning schedule, being able to input two on / off timers for each device. Moreover, you can set the motion sensors to trigger lights when movement is detected, then turn them off after a user-defined number of minutes of inactivity.

The client application only functions through command line arguments, its role being that of sending commands from an external app installed on the system, for instance a voice command interpreter or other similar tools.
