mapFactor Navigator Free

While most of you might not carry the laptop along during a leisure trip, business trips are a whole other deal. Also available for mobile devices, mapFactor Navigator Free provides a desktop GPS navigation tool ready to be deployed on a Windows laptop.

mapFactor Navigator Free is deployed in two different stages. First, a centralized management application is installed. This dashboard is the place where you can download the PC Navigator, manage all the maps and install new ones. If a compatible GPS device is connected to your PC, you can upload new maps with just a few clicks. Just as easy, you can download and copy the Navigator map files to a memory card, which can then be used to upload data to the GPS device using a card reader.

The PC Navigator allows you to explore installed maps, create routes and get voice guidance to get to your destination. In other words, you can use it just like any other GPS to plan your itinerary, and it will help you find the shortest path to the next waypoint.

To plan a new route, you must enter the correct address or the coordinates. PC Navigator can store frequent destinations in the Favorites section, for easy and quick access.

The map supports advanced zooming, and allows you to place departure and destination points. With just a few clicks, you can perform searches for points of interest of any kind.

Based on OpenStreetMap, mapFactor Navigator Free offers turn-by-turn guidance from the beginning to the end of your trip. It features voice guidance in different languages and fullscreen maps for easy navigation.
