Advanced Metronome

Metronomes are known for their hand in helping musicians acquire a sense of timing and tempo. If you are no longer at the level of training simple speed and measure, there is a more advanced type of metronome you can try. Advanced Metronome, as is its name, is a nifty tool designed for more complex practice sessions that include songs with multiple speeds or timing signatures.

The program is very easy to set up. First, go to the Measure entry on the toolbar to start adding measure slots. You can also do that with the CTRL + A hotkey.

A measure entry requires a name, the repeat value, and the BPM rate. Adjust the repeats and BMP in order to match your practice target. You can create as many measure slots as you need, depending on the complexity of the songs.

Use the Metronome menu to press Play. To warm up a session, the program provides some pre-metronome ticks. This feature works as a measure slot, but its sound is a bit different. Once the pre-ticks are exhausted, the real training begins.

the measure slots are supposed to recreate a song's path. If you take your time to match the advanced metronome with a complex, or original song, why waste the effort? Open the File combo menu to access the save or save as features. Saving a project also helps those who wish to practice the same setup more than one time.

Advanced Metronome can be seen as a training tool for musicians or amateurs looking to hone their tempo and timing skills. As long as you understand how to set up the measure values, and of course, how to deal with the number of repeats and beats per minute, you should encounter no issues with this app.
