Blue is a fairly straightforward application that provides you with a simple chatbot, and it is also capable of performing various other actions. It allows you to set up alarms, use a speech engine to listen to words being spoken aloud, perform calculations and more.

The application is mainly designed to serve as a conversation partner, and you can ask various questions to see what Blue has to say. However, you cannot use any special characters, and the queries are only recognized if the correct formatting is employed.

It is worth noting that few commands are currently supported, as we could only find a couple of questions that can be answered, aside from the provided examples.

Also, Blue is not technically a true AI, as it can only respond to questions that are in its database, and it does not learn from human input.

While these commands are not fully documented, Blue is capable of helping you with various day-to-day tasks.

For instance, it allows you to set up an alarm at a specific time, perform simple calculations and open files. It also includes a text-to-speech engine, but you cannot change the default voice.

The chatbot’s limitations aside, the application has several functionality issues that need to be resolved.

For example, your choice of background color is not saved when shutting down the application or sending it to the background, and it is not possible to move the application window.

To sum up, Blue is a promising utility that could be very useful in the future, but only if it is improved in many respects. At present, the chatbot only recognizes a limited number of queries, and the additional functions the application offers are simply not that helpful.
