The term cache file is a thing that some people don't even know exists. They use a program regularly and at some point, they realize they are running low on disk space.

From when you first open the application, it immediately detects the software in your system that generates cache files. If it does not find all the ones you wanted, you can also manually configure it to scan certain folders from the Settings menu.

Once you have selected all the places you want it to scan, you just need to press the button from the home screen and it will display everything it can find.

In the same place, you can also filter them by type, if you only want certain formats to be shown. You can also choose to delete them all at the same time. Alternatively, you can go through each of them and decide if there are any you wish to keep.

Again, there are programs, such as Chrome, that have a builtin function that can delete all cached files. The advantage of CacheMonkey is that you can also decide to save them if any of them are important.
