Collection Keeper Pro

If you really didn't guess by looking at the name, Collection Keeper Pro is an application dedicated to collector fans. What type of collectors, you ask? Well just about any type. All you've got to do is create your catalog, and begin to add items to it. It's also a great way to keep things organized, using this application as an item database.

The concept is quite simple. First of all, you will need to create a category. Once that's done, you can decide if you'll manually add items to the list, scan them using a USB barcode scanner/camera, or search for the item in previously documented collections. It's all up to you and depends on what your final goal is. This app works well with Dropbox.

When adding items manually, do make sure you specify the name of the product, the type or category it belongs to, an author or creator, and so on. The more details you add, the easier it will be for you to track it down later. You can, of course, associate your entry with an image, if you've got one.

Right, so you've managed to create one or several groups of items. What can you do with them? You can use them as a database to make sure all items are in place. You could also keep track of the products you've lent to others. Don't forget, you can also virtually share your collections for others to see or simply compare.
