ECDIS Route Manager

Working with navigation systems can be tricky, especially from the perspective of the used and handled file formats, and the current abundance of route formats is overwhelming to say the least, oftentimes mandating conversions to achieve better interoperability.

ECDIS Route Manager was designed in order to allow you to manage route files spanning across a very wide range of file types, including some of the most commonly used formats for route files, such as GPX, RT3, RTZ, WPT, RTX, and much more.

The application comes equipped with two ways of handling the route data, one allowing you to actually preview the contents of the internal table, such as the waypoints and course values, as well as the actual route on a world view map.

This enhanced versatility, allowing users to get a better overview of the loaded route data, will enable you to have an enhanced context awareness. This can be used for easier correlation with the contents of the internal table, such as lat/long values, and more.

In addition to previewing route contents, you will also be able to create new ones, by relying on the internal editor, which will basically allow you to populate a table with the preferred navigation parameters, which correspond to a particular route.

One extra feature that gives the app an enhanced degree of flexibility, is the included converter module, which allows for even greater interoperability, as it will allow you to easily migrate data to the preferred output format.
