Hyper-V Launcher is a program that allows you to access and manage your local Hyper V machines in a more convenient way.

The application does not have an actual interface, but you can manage it via the shortcut in the System Tray. From here you can open either the app itself or the Hyper V manager embedded with Windows. In case you already have virtual machines installed, then you should view them listed in the main windows and you can manage them from here.

Managing entails launching, editing or deleting the virtual machine. You can also create shortcuts that are placed either on the desktop or Start Menu, depending on your needs and preferences. When creating a shortcut, you can specify a new name for it and dictate what happens to the VM once you close the connection, namely leave it in the current state, pause or shut it down.

The developer claims that the shortcuts are automatically deleted with the VM, if you decide to erase them. You can also configure the machine to automatically create shortcuts for each new virtual machine you create and to start the app with Windows from the Settings.
