What I did appreciate, though, is that you can also use this program, without your glasses, to assess your machine's capabilities before actually purchasing any type of compatible product. This is not something that has been so easily detectable with similar software from other developers of VR solutions.

Setting up your desktop in VR is somewhat of an experience with this program. I liked how it managed to transfer various normal applications, such as the store, notepads, and Steam client into the VR realm. These are either shopping bags, large TV screens, or simple portals to other realms.

I think it makes a difference using such a product to people who live in small houses and feel that they don't have enough privacy. Aside from this not-so-relevant aspect, the application is very friendly and works with plug-and-play precision.

Mixed Reality Portal is a must for any VR-compatible glasses owner out there. It makes life easier, and friendlier, and also works as one of the best intros to the virtual reality realm. Its implementation is excellent and very friendly with newcomers and basic users who are still interested in tech developments.
