Pigeonhole Organizer

Pigeonhole Organizer is a straightforward application especially designed to help you manage your personal information with ease. It displays a grid of pigeonholes that resembles MS Excel spreadsheets.

Upon launching the software utility, you are welcomed by the main window that consists of 175 pigeonholes organized in 5 columns. You can click on a pigeonhole and type text using the built-in editor. The text editor allows you to convert letters to upper, lower, sentence or proper case, as well as remove unnecessary blank lines, marks from email messages, non ASCII characters, duplicate spaces and HTML tags.

From the View menu, you can use three types of shortcut buttons namely Net, Dial and Email. You can activate all these buttons if your pigeonhole contains website links, email addresses and phone numbers typed on each line within the first ten rows. In order to easily keep track of your personal information, you can rename each group of pigeonholes and sort all 175 memos alphabetically.

Moreover, this program can help you learn or remember specific details by allowing you to highlight with colors each pigeon caption, the default color being white. A small downfall of highlighting captions is that you can benefit by a limited number of colors and you might find yourself in the situation that your favorite color shade isn't among those colors.

Besides efficiently organizing your memos, this utility offers you the possibility to backup or restore data. It is important to note that if you save information using the default folder which is different from one version of Windows to another, there is a chance that you could lose data if you are going to upgrade your operating system or switch to another one.
