PointZ

PointZ is a tiny tool designed to emulate mouse and keyboard peripherals on Android devices in order to facilitate the remote control of your computer.

PointZ is composed of two elements that go hand in hand in order to provide what's promised. There is the Android APK that must be installed on the mobile device, and the PointZerver executable that must run on the target computer.

The main condition for the app to function properly is to link both devices on the same Wi-Fi network. If the phone is on mobile data or any other network than the PC, the program won't work.

Also, PointZerver constantly broadcasts UPD packets for any client running the APK. If there is a firewall protecting the network used for synchronization, the broadcast might be stopped. Creating an exclusion rule for PointZerver or dropping the firewall altogether might solve this possible issue.

On an Android device, the APK behaves like a chat service. There are, however, specific icons that point out how to access the mouse and keyboard, open media or even send messages.
