Touhou Doujin Reader is a small Windows application designed specifically for helping you download and read English translated manga books.

This is a portable tool which makes it the perfect candidate for being stored on USB flash drives or other portable devices. Gaining access to its features requires only opening the executable file. You may uninstall it via a simple deletion task, as it leaves no traces in your Windows registry.

You are welcomed by a clean and intuitive design that allows you to set up the dedicated parameters in no time. There’s no support for a help manual but getting used to working with this program takes only a few minutes of your time.

Touhou Doujin Reader builds up a list with all the manga books that are available for download. You can browse throughout the list and grab the story that you want to read. You are allowed to download a random manga book from the list if you cannot decide what to pick, update the list with books, and perform searches.

The reading panel is straightforward and offers you the possibility to go to the next or previous page, view the total number of pages included in the book, as well as zoom in or out of the current page. On the downside, there’s no support for different view modes (e.g. full screen, two-pages per display), hotkeys for jumping to the first, last, previous, and next page, and exporting options.

Tests have shown that Touhou Doujin Reader carries out a task quickly and without errors. It does not eat up a lot of CPU and memory resources so the overall performance of the computer is not hampered.
