WindowsAccenter

WinddowsAccenter is a lightweight tool that converts regular letters to characters such as á, é, ü, etc. It can come in handy for users who compose messages in other languages but don't want to bother installing a new keyboard layout or manually pulling down letters from the web.

WinddowsAccenter does not have an interface to interact with. It is also built using AHK, so it has more of a script-like behavior.

All you have to do to start using the app is run it when the OS starts. It will reside in the system tray when active, and its context menu lets you disable or enable it at will. In case the computer is restarted, the program must be run again.

When enabled, the tool works with any text software out there, so it does not need a special environment to covnert characters.

To convert letters, adding a backslash, a forward slash or a backtick (`) should do the trick. Both uppercase and lowercase items are supported. For the full list of supported characters, check this page out.
