YamahaECU is a great way to check information on your bike via its associated computer port without having to spend a fortune or become a scientist in this field. The program manages to easily scan any Yamaha bike computer via its compatible interface options. You can select to write or read the flash drive included in your bike's main computer.

ECU or Electronic Control Unit is the main computer connected to your vehicle's motor and sensors. It manages to read data from all its components, making sure everything is fine with your machine. The app comes as a special read that allows users with a specific USB adapter to connect and read this information directly from the unit itself.

Just like in the case of computers, writing the main flash memory can prove dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. This could prove fatal to your bike's functions, especially if the wrong type of update or change is used. As far as compatible interfaces are concerned, there are two possible choices, FTDI and J2534.
