YammerShell

Yammer is a social network aimed towards enterprises, and it goal is to connect leaders and communities across various businesses. While it has its own platform and layout, Yammer can also be alternatively accessed. More precisely, through PowerShell, and this should be made possible by YammerShell, a small applet designed to allow Yammer users through the Shell module.

YammerShell uses Yammer's REST API, so no foul play should be involved here. However, this API is influenced in the authentication process, which must be strictly conducted via OAuth. Also, a registered application is required for the Yammer API to access its endpoints. When the registration is completed, a Bearer Token should be assigned.

With the registered app and the Bearer token, the user can start YammerShell via the batch file '_StartYammerShell.bat.' When the BAT file is opened, the user must identify the 1234 part of the provided line and replace it with the token's value. YammerShell is a lightweight app that facilitates the use of Yammer through the PowerShell module. Considering the applet uses the genuine REST API, safety should not be a concern.
