Equals for Windows 10/8.1

Made for computers running Windows 10, 8.1 and 8, Equals is an easy-to-use measurement unit converter with support for length, volume, mass and area. It especially comes in handy when you don't have an active Internet connection to look up this information online.

The app can be seamlessly downloaded from the Microsoft Store and integrated with the Start Screen of Windows 8 and 8.1, together with the Start Menu of Windows 10, in order to run it like any other Metro app.

Its interface is user-friendly and simplistic, represented by a large window that reveals buttons for the length, volume, mass and area.

When it comes to length, you can calculate inches, feet, yards, miles, nautical miles, kilometers, meters, centimeters, and millimeters. Concerning the volume, the tool gives you the possibility to convert gallons, quarts, pints, cups, ounces, tablespoons, teaspoons, cubic meters, liters, milliliters, cubic feet, and cubic inches.

Regarding mass, it's possible to explore metric tons, kilograms, grams, milligrams, micrograms, long tons, short tons, stones, pounds, and ounces. Lastly, when it comes to area, you can perform unit conversions for square kilometers, square miles, square meters, square yards, square feet, square inches, hectares, and acres.

A new page is opened for each selected category, where you can use a built-in calculator to type the numerical values after selecting one of the available units from the drop-down menu. It's not necessary to click any buttons to carry out the conversion, since this is done in real time (as you type).

Another noteworthy aspect is that results are shown in all units at the same time, which means that you can get an overview of all values instead of picking a particular one as the output, and then repeat the process when choosing a new unit.

Unsurprisingly from such a compact tool, it had minimal impact on the system's performance throughout our evaluation. Thanks to its attractive interface and intuitive options, Equals can be handled by anyone looking to convert measurement units outside the realms of the Internet.
