Currently, there is no online game more popular than League of Legends (LoL). Thanks to this ever-increasing number of followers, it evolved from a simple game into an internationally acclaimed e-sport.  This rise in competitiveness makes way for continuously changing builds and item sets that try to prove one is better than the other, and Championify is an app that lets you decide which indeed is the best build for your favorite champion.

While it is arguable how much of a player's performance is truly based on skill, any LoL player will agree that the items you build will make or break a game.  The premise of Championify is a simple one: download and try out the item sets recommended by the top websites and players from around the world and try to see which suit your needs best. The app has a lightweight feel to it, probably because of it's UI that was designed primarily for mobile devices. Nonetheless, there were no issues encountered while testing it on a Windows 10 PC.

Once you've first opened the app, the first thing you have to do is select the directory where your LoL client is installed. Afterwards, all you have to do is select from which site you wish to download the item sets, and you're done. Each individual champion's recommended items from within your game client will be modified accordingly without breaking the game. Of course, that is just a coarse example of what you can do overall since there are plenty of minor customization options that you can manage. For example, you may set certain item sets to be available only for certain maps (such as sets for Summoner's Rift or for the Twisted Treeline) One thing you should consider is that the app gathers its resources from the top websites of the world, meaning that whatever build you decide to download may be good for competitive play, but not for casual matches.

While Championify may not seem like much at first glance, don't be fooled by the minimalist UI, since using this app accordingly can make the difference between reaching higher rankings or staying Bronze forever. With this aspect in mind, we can say that this app deserves a well-deserved place in any LoL player's digital library.
