EZOutlookSync Portable

Made as the portable counterpart of EZOutlookSync, this is a fast and approachable Windows tool that enables you to seamlessly synchronize Microsoft Outlook files across multiple workstations via USB.

Since there is no setup pack involved, you can save the program to a pen drive or other removable storage unit, in order to run it on any PC effortlessly (as long as it has Microsoft Office installed), in order to back up, restore and synchronize files.

Based on a classical window, the interface looks simplistic and easy to navigate. You can explore, back up and restore Outlook files, as well as explore their properties when it comes to the file, computer and user names, date of creation and last modification, along with the number of containing items and size.

The app puts at your disposal a wizard with simple steps to follow in order to successfully carry out a synchronization task. All you have to do is select the job type between syncing PST files on the flash drive with Outlook data, creating a backup of all current Oulook data to the flash drive, or restoring the backup data from the drive to Outlook.

In the following wizard panel you can edit the backup name or integrate the files into an existing backup (i.e. update the backup). It's possible to password-protect the backup to restrict the access of unauthorized users. EZOutlookSync can include all Outlook content or you can choose between messages, contacts, the calendar, tasks, notes, journal, posts, and distribution lists.

The software utility didn't put a strain on computer performance in our tests, thanks to the fact that it needed low CPU and memory to work properly. It finished backup and sync jobs rapidly without triggering the operating system to freeze, crash or pop up error messages.

To sum it up, EZOutlookSync provides you with a simple and effective means of backing up, restoring and synchronizing Microsoft Outlook files across multiple computers using a USB flash drive. However, it interface needs some polishing. We must also take into account the fact that the app hasn't been updated for a while.
