Enhance audio files through multiple, customizable effects, and processors, and even create binaural beats based on the original file #Stretch audio #Adjust audio file #Customize audio file #Stretch #Adjust #Customize
Manipulating sound is a greatly enhanced process if done on a computer fitted with the right hardware, and software components. For instance, with Portable Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch, you’re able to literally stretch a sound file, and modify different parameters, and frequency for spectral smoothing.
As the name clearly points out, this edition of Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch doesn’t take you through a setup process, meaning you can carry it around on a thumb drive to use on other computers as well. What’s more, this means the target PC’s health status remains intact, because no registries are modified for the application to work.
The application comes with a custom interface design, which makes it easy to identify the tools you need for processing. There are four major tabs to the entire operation, depending on the type of effects you want to add, while the last is dedicated to rendering, and saving the new file.
You probably end up scratching your head for a while after loading a song, because sound is nothing like the original file. This is the effect of the stretch filter, which can slow down a file up to 50 times. Sure enough, there’s a slider to adjust ratio, as well as another to adjust samples, with one of five different types of filters.
The initial parameters section comes with a customizable multiplier. You get to adjust a linear, or cosine interpolation of audio frequencies to slow down, or speed up the pace at custom values.
The second tab is where all general effects are found. None are enabled by default, and this gives you the chance to experiment with different pitch shifter values, frequency shifter, harmonics, bandstop, octave mixer, bandwidth spread, tonal or noise transformation, as well as a compressor. Just like the previous tab, you also get to use a multiplier.
Last but not least, the application provides the possibility to turn any audio file you load into binaural beats audio. This dedicated section only works through a frequency editor, similar to previous multipliers, with options to set interpolation, and stereo mode.
Feedback is provided in real time, which is a major advantage, considering the variety, and abundance of processors. Exporting can be done for a specific song section, with export options for OGG, and WAV files.
To sum it up, audio doesn’t necessarily mean just music, and it can be used as therapy, background noise, or different effects. Portable Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch allows you to process audio to obtain diversity, which can blend in multiple types of activities, and projects.
