Portable Spider Player

Spider Player is a tool which you can use to play your favorite audio tracks in a user-friendly environment.

Since this is a portable application, there is no need to install it. You can place it on a USB flash drive and always have it with you when you're on the go. More importantly, there will be no changes made to your Windows registry entries.

The interface of the media player is clean and intuitive. You can import media by using the file browser or the "drag and drop" method.

You can use basic media player tools, such as pause and stop, go to the next or previous track, navigate within the stream and adjust the volume.

But you can also configure the equalizer, create a playlist and favorites list, edit the title of the track, rename files, open their location, as well as convert them to the WAV, WMA, MP3, OGG, FLAC or WavPack format.

You can play music from a CD or URL (i.e. Internet radio), rip an audio CD, sort songs, generate an HTML playlist, change the interface skin, use keyboard shortcuts, and more.

In the "Options" menu, you can select the interface language and font, enable Spider Player to minimize to tray, always be on top of other applications, check for updates at startup, automatically download lyrics, reconfigure hotkeys, set file associations, and others.

The app takes up a low-to-moderate amount of system resources and includes a brief help file. We haven't come across any errors during our tests and strongly recommend Spider Player to all users who are looking for an alternative audio player, with a few extra options on the side.
