Luminance HDR Portable

Note: To use the portable edition, run the installer and select the portable mode, in order to copy all files to one folder.

Luminance HDR Portable is a comprehensive application designed to help users edit HDR images in numerous ways.

As installation is not necessary, you can drop the program files anywhere on the hard disk and run the executable directly. It is also possible to save Luminance HDR to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run in on any machine with minimum effort and without prior installers.

What's more, it does not create new registry keys or files on the HDD without your consent, leaving the disk clean after removal.

The interface consists of a familiar window with a clean layout, where you can create new HDR items from a numerous range of file formats, including JPG, TIFF, PNG and GIF. It is possible to select the image exposure and alignment, as well as to preview the photograph in the main window.

Luminance HDR lets you edit tonemap settings when it comes to the operator, contrast, saturation and detail factor, and to tweak pre-gamma for before processing the file.

Other functions let you copy EXIF data, enable real-time previews, convert multiple HDR images to LDR using existing settings, rotate, crop and resize pictures, and adjust the histogram levels for the current LDR. These are just some of the features provided by this resourceful utility.

It offers multilingual support, is very responsive to commands, and uses surprisingly low CPU and RAM. No error dialogs were shown in our testing, and the tool did not hang or crash.
