Portable JPEGView

Portable JPEGView is simply a great app on account of its portability factor and very simple interface that allows users to adjust .JPG files in just a couple of moments. You get some tools that feel basic at first but in the end, are the most important and necessary ones, and also the navigation options you're familiar with from other similar programs.

One thing I loved about this program was how easy it was to check all the adjustments you make to your image. That is simply because it is the main attraction, and represents more than 80% of the interface.

All options and buttons are carefully integrated so as not to bother you in your search for perfection. Once the image or images are in focus, you can directly print them, rename them, set modification date, darken, correct color issues, sharpen, and so on. To be honest, I found there were plenty of changes one can make using this simple program.

The most intriguing of changes in my case was the perspective correction which displays a sort of grid over your image and allows you to bend it back into perfection. Once you are satisfied you can hit the Apply button or if you mess something up you can always go for the Reset option.

Once that is done, you're good to go and the image itself can be used in whatever projects you've still got going around. Portable JPEGView is indeed a very helpful application designed to offer a system of quick adjustments for .JPEG files without requiring the user to become more specialized in this matter.

I was quite happy about the balance between adjustments and options and the overall simplicity of the app and would recommend it to anybody who wants perfect images on their machines.
