If you ever need to highlight something on your desktop, or you get a sudden burst of inspiration, an application that enables you to draw something on your screen can definitely come in handy.

ScreenDraw is a program designed for this very purpose, and it is about as simple as software can get. It makes it possible for users to draw on the desktop using a basic pen tool, and then save a screenshot to an image file.

At present, the best thing about this application is just how easy it is to set up. You don’t need to install anything, as you can just run the executable file from any location on your PC.

Once you have launched the program, an overlay will be displayed on your screen, and you can pick the color you wish to use from the top-right corner of the desktop. When you are finished drawing, just click Save to take a screenshot and save it to an image file in the same folder.

While simplicity can be good, and many users will likely appreciate this utility because of how straightforward it is, others may find the limited number of features to be an issue.
