Easily create a web photo album out of multiple collections, with options to customize page color, and captions with this practical app #Photo album creator #Generate photo album #Build photo album #Album #Create #Creator
Chances are you care a lot about the photos you take on a daily basis, and want to keep them all organized in a cool album. There are countless applications like X-Zphoto which give you the possibility to easily target your entire collection, set up different visual settings, and build an album you can even integrate in your website.
A neat advantage is that you don’t have to go through the effort of installing the application, and can even store, and use it from a USB flash drive on other computers. Other than flexibility, portability means that system registries are not modified during the process, so you don’t have to worry about affecting the target PC.
The application keeps all features in a classic window frame, which makes it easy for individuals of all levels of experience to get the hang of things. A side navigation panel lets you view all items to include in your new album, while the rest of the space is structured in four different tabs for basic options, advanced, flash colors, as well as page colors.
Although drag and drop is not supported, the built-in browse dialog is not difficult to use. You can either load an entire folder for all containing images, or pick from multiple locations, with supported formats letting you work with files like JPG, PNG, GIF, and BMP.
Pictures aren’t bundled at the original size, so you need to pay a visit to the advanced settings tab for some special parameters. Size is one of them, as well as the possibility to use EXIF info, sort by name, or disable caption. Flash, and page color tabs are dedicated to what the name suggests, without an option to load a picture as background.
It takes a little while to build the album, with an option to have it opened directly in your web browser when done. A HTML file is created, and you might need Adobe Flash Player for preview, but its dependency can be disabled at the press of a button.
All things considered, we come to the conclusion that X-Zphoto manages to live up to expectations, providing the means to bundle pictures from multiple locations into a web album, built through a set of intuitive tools. It could have done with a bit more customization options, but it’s worth your while in the end.
