N-Stat Portable

N-Stat Portable provides users with an easy to use network monitoring application that allows you to obtain real-time statistical data on the traffic speed and usage. It is a special version of N-Stat Lite, which does not require installation (it can be launched directly from a removable drive) and doesn't leave any fingerprints in the system registry.

N-Stat Portable can be used by network administrators who require a comprehensive tool for checking device availability. The application can interact with Ethernet, wireless networks and mobile broadbands, allowing you to keep an eye on all networks from a single place.

Adopting a forthright approach, the interface is simple and neatly organized, displaying details regarding the detected connections, such as the adapter name, its description and its type, as well as the device availability and status. You can instruct the program to gather data on the identified network tunnels.

N-Stat Portable generates a comprehensive graph representation that includes the average download and upload speeds. The connection details (physical, IPv4 and IPv6 addresses) are also displayed, along with data concerning the current, daily, monthly and yearly traffic speed and usage. The unit format can be easily customized and the statistics can be reset with the push of a button.

One interesting feature that is worth mentioning is related to the possibility to monitor these parameters from your desktop. The traffic upload and download speed, the elapsed up-time and the traffic usage are shown using transparent tiles for each detected adapter or tunnel.
