Nagstamon Portable

Nagstamon Portable performs real-time monitoring of running Nagios-based services, retrieving detailed information concerning the status of each host or service.

The application provides support for various server types, namely Nagios, Icinga, Opsview, Check_MK Multisite, Thruk, Centreon or Op5 Monitor/Ninja. Upon launch, it reveals the 'Settings' window where you can manage all the servers and customize the application's behavior.

Further configuration options enable you to select and filter the data that will be shown by Nagstamon Portable. As such, you can eliminate down or unreachable hosts, critical, unknown, warning or flapping services, hosts in soft state from the report. A more accurate and clear rule set can be generated by using regular expressions.

Nagstamon Portable features a notification system that can let you know you about various events, such as when a host goes offline, a service is unreachable or a warning or a problem occurs. It allows both visual popup alerts via the system tray and sound notifications, giving you the possibility to customize the sounds to your liking.

Its actual interface is just a floating icon that enables you to view the status of the monitored server, displaying more information upon mouse hovering. The indicator can be positioned anywhere on the desktop, so that it doesn't interfere with your work. You can easily customize its appearance (colors for text and background) or disable it and send Nagstamon Portable to the system tray.

Nagstamon Portable is a handy monitoring tool for all administrators, providing a more convenient way to keep an eye on Nagios-based services and hosts, unlike the web interface of the server.

As its name implies, it is the portable version of Nagstamon, which does not require installation and can be easily launched directly from a removable drive, enabling you to keep an eye on your servers on the go.
