This software tool does not require installation, which means that you can copy the executable file to any location on the hard disk and click it to run. In order to find the SSL certificate of your interest, all you have to do is input the host name or IP address, and the SSL service. There are two types of SSL services, namely HTTPS (port 443) and LDAPS (port 636). Once you have configured all these options, you simply have to click the “Start Scan” button.

The main window is going to display a list of the scans made and their results, along with important details, including host IP address, port, certificate subject name, issue and expiry date, and status. If there is a valid certificate found, then you can see further data regarding it with the help of the “View Cert” buttons.

Scan reports can be saved to your HDD in a number of different formats, such as HTML, TXT and XML.
