In order to enable or disable a network adapter, you normally have to access the Network and Sharing Center, which can be an issue if you perform this operation often.

NetSwitch is a small application that provides you with a much more convenient method of toggling network adapters on or off. It runs in the system tray and allows you to enable or disable network interfaces from a simple context menu.

If you like things simple, you should be happy with NetSwitch. There is no need to install anything before running it, so you can deploy the program on any PC pretty much instantly. It also leaves no traces behind after being used on your computer.

There are also no settings to configure, as the application just looks for every network adapter installed on your system and lets you turn them on or off.

Once you have launched the program, it will be available from the system tray. When you want to turn a network interface on or off, you just need to right-click the icon and select it from the list.

If a network adapter is already enabled, a check mark will be displayed next to its name, so it is easy to tell which of them is active or inactive.

In the end, NetSwitch is a simple piece of software designed to perform a single job – help you enable or disable network interfaces with much less effort. It is fully portable and requires no configuration, so any user can set it up instantly.

It would have helped if there was an alternative tray icon for users to choose, however, as the default one may be a bit too colorful for certain Windows themes.
