Portable AMP Calendar

Made as the portable counterpart of AMP Calendar, Portable AMP Calendar is an easy-to-use program that displays a calendar. It features a wide array of customization options. However, before proceeding any further, you should know that it doesn't support edit settings or notes.

There is no setup pack involved. Instead, you can copy the downloaded files anyplace on the disk or on removable storage units to launch the program on any machine with as little effort as possible. It doesn't need DLLs or other components to work properly, nor does it update the system registry with new entries. Your settings are remembered on exit without creating or updating files.

As far as the interface of Portable AMP Calendar is concerned, the program adopts a large window that can be resized to fit the calendar view, depending on whether you want to show 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 12 columns. The toolbar and week numbers can be hidden while the main panel can be set to stay on top of other windows. A systray icon is created at startup, showing the current date.

It's possible to jump to the current day or to the previous, next or a specific year, instruct the utility to autorun at Windows startup, hide the date in the taskbar notifications area, or customize it by showing large numbers or making it transparent.

You can change the default number of columns, show only the calendar without additional elements, hide the toolbar by default, allow the calendar to close when pressing the Escape button, set a keyboard shortcut for quick activation, change the first day of the week and month displayed, as well as personalize colors (e.g. background, title and month background, font). The colors can be reset to their default mapping anytime while the calendar can be printed.

To wrap it up, Portable AMP Calendar comes packed with intuitive settings to help you personalize a calendar. CPU and RAM usage was minimal in our tests.
