To Do Enhanced Portable

Just like the name clearly states, this is the edition of To Do Enhanced which saves you the effort of going through a setup process, and can easily be carried around on a thumb drive. This makes it possible to keep a record of activities wherever you go. Registry entries are not modified in the process, but you do need to check whether or not .NET Framework is installed.

The visual design is neat, with the list gradually building as you add tasks to the list. Every item has its own bullet for easy identification, and adding an item only requires you to write the name. Unfortunately, there’s no option to configure time dependencies, completion status, or set up alerts for upcoming events.

On the other hand, the application does provide quite the variety of visual customization options. Accessing the settings panel gives you the possibility to change background color, font, fade effect, transparency and more. Additional options let you set topmost layer priority to always have the list in plain sight.

Although not a default option, you can make the application run on startup by manually adding a shortcut to the system startup folder. When not used, the application can be sent to the tray area and only brought up to add more tasks, or strike them as done. The list can be saved as a TXT file.
