Wiseboard

If you want to get more out of the Windows clipboard, you might wish to consider trying out a clipboard extender, and Wiseboard is one of the options at your disposal.

A relatively simple application that requires no installation, Wiseboard can capture the most recent items stored in the clipboard and allows you to access them with a quick key combination.

Your settings are saved in a configuration file stored in the root folder, and the application does not need to be installed before use, which means this is a fully portable tool that can be used on the go.

Wiseboard is also very unobtrusive, as it is minimized to the system tray automatically, and the extended clipboard can be accessed with a simple key combination.

While the application is running, it stores everything you send to the clipboard, up to a maximum number set by the user; this includes text and files, making this a pretty versatile program.

When you want to access these items again, you need to use the classic CTRL+V combination, but keep V pressed a little longer so that the clipboard selector will be displayed. Then, just press V to find the item you are interested in and release CTRL to paste it.

You can customize a few things about the clip selection window, such as the rectangle width, font and font size, but it still looks a bit outdated. It would certainly help if a more modern visual design were implemented in future releases.
