TeX Creator Portable

TeX Creator is a straightforward LaTeX editor and TexSample client that help you connect to an online service and share data with other users.

This is the portable version of the utility, which can be run directly on your system by simply opening the executable file. It doesn’t leave any traces in your Windows registry and store configuration data in your computer. You may copy it on any USB flash drives and carry it with you.

The tool sports a multi-tabbed layout that allows you to work with different documents at the same time. Data can be imported/exported from or to TEX, INP, PIC or STY file format, and you may also pick the encoding format.

The application gives you the possibility to establish a new connection by providing details about the server, email address and password. You can make the utility automatically connect at startup and enable the cache.

A list with LaTeX symbols is revealed in the main window so you can easily insert the characters in your text. The symbols are organized in different categories so you can quickly differentiate between them, namely Greek letters, Arrows, Separators, and Relations.

TeX Creator allows you to undo or redo your actions, perform basic clipboard actions (cut, copy, paste), delete information, insert predefined text, find and replace words, create bookmarks, and enable or disable the spell check.

The utility lets you enable multiple windows, adjust the font and size of the text, alter the line length and tab width, enable the automatic encoding detection, specify the maximum file size, set up the console (pick the compiler, specify the compiler options and commands, enable a remote compiler), and configure proxy parameters.
