World Clock Portable

World Clock Portable is a tool developed in Flash, specifically in order to help individuals view the current hour all over the globe.

This is the portable counterpart of World Clock, meaning it does not require installation. Consequently, you can copy the program files to any location on the HDD, so as to easily run the application from there, by simply double-clicking on the executable.

In addition to that, it is possible to drop the last mentioned files to a USB flash drive or other similar portable storage device in order to use World Clock Portable on any computer you have access to.

You should also know that the Windows registry and Start menu/screen are not going to get updated with new entries.

The interface is comprised of an interactive world map, several buttons and empty slots where users can save the current time from certain cities that interest them. It is very easy to use, for all types of people, even for those with little or no experience.

From the settings panel, it is possible to handpick all the colors used throughout the application, randomize them or select a preset theme. In the world map, you can show or hide the solar terminator, city markers and city flags.

The utility does not contain Help contents, yet seeing how easy it is to use it, they are not actually necessary.

To sum up, World Clock Portable is a useful piece of software which enables you to check out the world clock without needing an Internet connection. CPU and memory usage is moderate to low, while response time is good.
