pdScript IDE Portable

Made as the portable counterpart of pdScript IDE, this is a comprehensive application that lets you edit code and design visual forms when it comes to the Pascal Script language. It's wrapped in a user-friendly workspace and supports syntax highlighting.

As there is no setup pack involved, you can save the program files anywhere on the disk and just click the executable to launch pdScript IDE. Otherwise, you can move it to a pen drive to easily run it on any PC. It doesn't modify Windows registry settings.

As previously mentioned, the interface is user-friendly. It consists of a large window with a neatly organized structure that includes a code browser, object inspector, tool palette, and script manager.

You can review the code, design and console messages with any errors, block comments, convert the case, use a search-and-replace function, customize the foreground and background colors, change the font, switch to another UI language, or set the maximum number of recently opened scripts to keep.

Undoing and redoing your actions is possible, so you can fix any mistakes. The app lets you make file associations or personalize settings regarding the code completion: trigger and closing characters, trigger and closing characters for hints, along with hotkeys.

We haven't encountered any unpleasant surprises in our tests as far as stability is concerned, thanks to the fact that pdScript IDE didn't freeze, crash or display error messages. It had a good response time and minimal impact on computer performance, using low CPU and memory.
