Since installation is not a prerequisite, you can extract the program files to a custom directory on the hard disk and just click the executable to run.

It is also possible to save Encoding Decoding Free to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any machine with minimum effort.

An important aspect to take into account is that the Windows Registry does not get updated with new entries, and leftovers are not kept on the HDD after program removal.

The user-friendly interface consists of a standard window with an uncomplicated structure, where you can point out files for encryption using the file browser or drag-and-drop support. There are six encoding methods available: Standard, Ultra, Ultra 3 and AES 128-bit, 192-bit and 256-bit.

The encoding procedure doesn't take long, and the password-protected file is created in the same directory as the original item. The decoding operation is similar.

Encoding Decoding Free carries out an encryption and decryption job rapidly while using low CPU and RAM, so it does not affect the overall performance of the computer or interrupt normal user activity. It offers support for multiple languages. We have not encountered any issues throughout our evaluation, as the app did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs.
