Hash Kracker Console Portable

This is the portable edition of Hash Kracker Console, a straightforward command-line utility that enables you to find out lost or forgotten passwords to files by resorting to several effective methods based on hash algorithms.

Since there is no installation required, you can drop the program files in any part of the hard disk and run the executable file from a Command Prompt dialog.

This can also be done on any other computer that you have access to, by saving Hash Kracker Console to a pen drive or other removable device to run it directly and without any other installers.

An important aspect worth taking into account is that the Windows registry and Start menu do not receive new entries, and no extra files are created on the disk, leaving it clean after removal.

The application offers support for SHA1, SHA256, SHA384, SHA512 and MD5 hashes. Any information you remember about the key is highly useful.

For example, if you have numerous keys at hand that you would like to try out, Hash Kracker Console gives you the possibility to load a text file with endless potential passwords to evaluate (dictionary attack).

In brute force mode, the tool attempts to find out each character of the password, and you can select the exact uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols. This method takes a longer time to finish than the dictionary mode.

The tool has minimal impact on computer performance, since it runs on low CPU and RAM. No error dialogs were shown in our tests, and the program did not hang or crash. Since it can be minimized to the taskbar, it does not interrupt normal user activity. The help menu can be examined at any time to get accustomed to the commands.
