Portable Salted Hash Generator

This is the portable version of Salted Hash Generator, a small and easy-to-use app that can generate password hashes in just a few clicks. It comes packed with an intuitive configuration set that be tweaked by all user levels, including beginners.

As there is no installation involved, you can put the executable file in any location on the hard disk and just click it to run.

There is also the possibility of saving Salted Hash Generator to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any PC with minimum effort and no prior installers.

What's more, the Windows registry does not get updated with new keys, and no additional files are created on the HDD without your consent.

The interface is made from a normal window with a clean structure, where all you have to do is write the password and salt text, in order to generate hashes. Multiple entries are recorded and you can view their type and length, alongside hash values. These can be exported to an HTML, TXT or XML report for further scrutiny.

The app is low-demanding when it comes to CPU and RAM, so it does not affect PC performance. No error dialogs were shown in our tests, and the app did not hang or crash. Salted Hash Generator gets the job done.
