Portable TaggedFrog

Portable TaggedFrog is an intuitive software designed to tag the files on your computer and assign key words to them, in order to make them easier to find. Thus, you do not need to remember the file name or even its location, simply click on a tag and all the related content is displayed in Portable TaggedFrog’s interface.

Portable TaggedFrog allows you to tag any file or Web link you wish, by simply dragging and dropping the item in its interface. You may easily assign tags or key words to any individual file, groups of files or folders, in order to identify them later.

You may add as many key words you wish, to a particular tag, then view them in the software’s main page. Clicking either tag displays all the associated files in the space below, along with their name and path. The software features a quick filter, in the column on the left: by selecting Bookmarks, Office Documents, PDF Documents or Images, the software can display only those tags assigned to each specific type of files.

By creating tags and associating them to files for your computer, Portable TaggedFrog generates a simplistic searching process. Moreover, you may create groups of key words and save them as filters, in order to reduce the number of results displayed when clicking a tag. For instance, if you work with certain files often, you may create a filter that identifies strictly the desired documents.

The software allows you to add the most often searched tags to the Favorites collection, so they can be displayed in the column on the left. This option facilitates your access to them.

With Portable TaggedFrog, you may automate the process of file tagging by instituting rules. A rule is structured as follows: use a certain word or group of words to tag all the files with the specified extension, from the selected folder. Thus, not only can you search for files in a very simple way, but you do not even require to remember their names or paths.
